This was the BIG day! They are attending kinder at a private school and will attend kinder again next year at public school (not quite old enough for public school this year).
They had a WONDERFUL day after meeting their new teacher, Mrs. Hayes. She welcomed all her students with a smile at the front door. Carter hid behind Preston to get a better look, and Payton just smiled at her.
Contrary to what everyone thinks I should be feeling today, I am so excited to have them getting older and going off to school! I'm really looking forward to them learning and growing.
4 1/2 yrs ago they both weighed about three pounds, and were being given oxygen while fed through tubes. Today, they dress themselves, write their names, and have opinions of their own. We feel so blessed!
